After-School Enrichment
The Santa Monica Family YMCA provides an enriching experience and caring environment fostering positive development and growth for your child. YMCA programs are ideal for developing social skills, making friends, learning about oneself, and acquiring respect for others. Children not only share in fun, play, and laughter, they learn important social skills through values-based education, and character development.
Our YMCA cares about your child’s total development of spirit, mind, and body. YMCAs have been building healthy bodies for over 100 years. Wellness is another important part of our YMCA philosophy. The daily Enrichment curriculum incorporates games and activities that promote physical movement and promoting healthy lifestyles.
Whether it is Discovery Club, Sparta Club, Shaped for Life, STEM or Friday Fun Club, our Enrichment Program utilize the Y’s facilities and staff to ensure that your child has a varied program of activities and quality-time spent away from home.
Mini-Camps and Day Camps are offered during most school holidays. Please see our section on Day Camps for more information. Additional fees are required.
