The Santa Monica Family YMCA extends our sincere gratitude to The Vons + Pavillions Companies Foundation for their generous support of our mission to strengthen community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility while responding to the LA Fires in 2025.
When our communities were reeling from the fires in January, our YMCA began operating as a resource hub, community connector, and safe place for families impacted by the Palisades Fire. From distributing essentials and hot meals to providing childcare at no cost, our Y jumped into the relief work the moment required. Our partners at The Von’s + Pavilions Companies Foundation provided snack bags and resources to our organization to distribute to our neighbors working through recovery. Their continued support made the work in the immediate aftermath of the fires possible and fuels the way we support survivors as they continue to pave a path forward after the fires.
With the partnership of The Von’s + Pavilions Companies Foundation, we are providing vital programs that empower children, families, and seniors who were impacted by the 2025 LA Fires. Their commitment helps us ensure that everyone—regardless of age, background, circumstance, or income—has access to a safe, supportive space to grow, connect, and thrive.
